Crew it's time to get geared up and ready for the first 2020 KSA event: the CABRINHA & KSA STATE WAVE TITLES is ON!

Previous Event (November 2019)

We tried to hold the event during November 2019 (last year) but conditions were terrible and we had to postpone the event. 

Thanks to Kiteboarding Australia in partnership with KSA, we're rerunning the 2020 wave titles! Enjoy the wind, a bbq, and presos on the beach to follow immediately after the event. Everyone is encouraged to participate, and this event has a division to suit all riding abilities. So if your comfortable riding in surf conditions, get involved, have a crack and most of all have fun. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE STOKE!!!

When: There is a wind window, if there's wind on a weekend, we'll notify all participants the Wednesday before:

 JULY 18th - SEPTEMBER 13th     2020

Where: Middleton Cliffs.
Entry Fee: $30 Due to the support of our sponsors, we are able to keep the cost of entry low this year to maximise people to be able to participate. For this price, you get a lot of bang for your buck, as this includes:

Event entry gets you:

• Event stubbie holder
• BBQ, lunch and soft drinks throughout the weekend
• Pick from the prize table
• Opportunity to win a custom made trophy
• Braggin rights and a super fun experience/weekend! 

Divisions:

• Juniors (<18yr)
• Open womens 18+
• Open mens 18+
• Masters (35-54)

Eligibility: You do need to have a current KSA membership to sign up and participate for this event. Alternatively you can purchase a KSA day membership that will cover you for this event only. Day membership or Yearly membership can be purchased on the KA website

Judging information: This year KSA using a similar judging format to the World Surf League, by using multiple judges and dropping high and low scores. We are also aiming to go electronic to make the process more streamlined and fair. As this competition is a wave riding event, you are judged on your wave selection and your execution of manoeuvers on that wave. More specifically, the rules will follow the National Kitesurfing Series Rule book, which can be found on the KA website https://cdn.revolutionise.com.au/site/jhktyuhcfmho4zd9.pdf

Presentations: Presentations will be done straight after the event this year, not on a seperate day, so stick around to see if you take a place, and see if you win one of the awesome KSA custom-made trophies

So crew bring your family and friends to soak up the sunshine and the salty sea air and they can watch the kickass kiters slashing waves. To everyone thinking of joining the sport, this is a great time to have a look and see what kiting is all about. The crew are friendly and super helpful, and with the BBQ cranked all weekend food passes will be available for non- competitors.
