The 2017 Queensland Freestyle Kiteboarding State Titles are being held December 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the Maroochy River Cotton Tree.  Get involved as this will be a great event for both the public and the kite community.

The cost for competition is a $30 event entrance fee.  If you are already a Kiteboarding Australia member there are no additional cost.  however if you do not have KA insurance you can pay an extra $60 competition insurance fee or you can become a member and compete in as many events as you like.

The first day (Friday the 1st) will consist of a Freestyle progression clinic (if enough wind for 3 day event), with both the head Judge Jarrett Stock and 2nd Judge Josh Stephens.  The clinic is free with your $30 entry and will help tune in your tricks before the main event on Saturday and Sunday.

Also as part of entry you will receive an event T-shirt, goodies bag and a free lunch everyday for all competitors.  You will also automatically be in the Draw to win a FREE 2016 Liquid Force Echo twin tip with straps valued at $999 and also a brand new Ride Engine Harness valued at over $300 as well as heaps of other prizes and giveaways.

Saturday Night an evening for the riders and family will be provided at a local venue which is to be announced soon.  Sunday after the main event is an awards ceremony normally around the times of 2-4pm.

There a 5 divisions for competiting in

• Amateurs (3months - 3 years experience)

• Juniors (under 18s)

• Womens

• Opens (18-35)

• Masters (+35)
