The Kite Foiling Nationals are heading to Bowen - Queensland! Port Denison Sailing Club will play host to the 2025/26 Australian Kitefoiling Championships as part of the National Kite Foil Series. The event will be the selection event for the 2026 Youth World Championships.

KA Adult - $200 plus merchant fees
KA Junior - $170 plus merchant fees 

None Adult Member, including event insurance - $275 plus merchant fees 
None Junior Member, including event insurance - $245 plus merchant fees 

• If you are not a Kiteboarding Australia Member, you can still enter the event as an EVENT ONLY Membership. One-day event licence fees, which cover you for the whole event, are $75 and included in the registration fee. Sign up for Membership and select the free EVENT ONLY Membership option. You will only need to do this once when you have set up your profile. Log in to the same profile for each event. If you are competing or taking part in more than one event, it is more cost-effective to sign up for a full membership. Plus, you will be supporting your sport and will be covered 24/7 recreationally.

Eligibility

The event is open to all competitors

Format

The event format will primarily be fleet racing. The event is Kite Foil, therefore, any equipment may be used for the event. 

Youth Sailing World Championships 

New to racing or on freeride equipment?

The event will consist of a Formula X division, which encourages participation from newcomers and kiters on freeride equipment. Participants will compete on a modified course to those using dedicated race equipment.
