Level 1 Accredited Instructor

All Wind Wing / Wing Foil Instructor Training Courses (ITC’s) are run in conjunction with Kiteboarding Australia and are open to all members of the association who are of a suitable standard of riding proficiency/experience.
 
The aim of Level 1 ITC course is to produce good, competent, keen and professional Wing Foiling instructors. The emphasis on the course is around safety, communication skills, professional attitude and conduct as an ambassador for the sport of Winging.  The instructor course is a comprehensive and up to date ITC which includes the entire Wing Foiling teaching scheme and career path.

Accreditation Requirements

Candidates must also hold:

• A valid powerboating qualification
• A valid First Aid qualification or equivalent
• A valid Kiteboarding Australia Membership
• Current Working With Children Check
• Candidates must also posses an adequate level of riding skills, including gybing & tacking on a foil.

Course Duration

The duration of the course depends on previous instructor qualifications. If you have either a kiteboarding, windsurfing or sailing instructor qualification, you may be eligible to complete the course in 2 days.
