Is the Kiteboarding Australia course internationally recognised?
Yes, the Kiteboarding Australia course is part of the International Kiteboarding Assocation (IKA) training scheme that is adopted by national sporting organisations worldwide. For example, the course is licensed and directly transferable to the British Kitesports Association (BKSA) course.

I have another instructors ticket (i.e. BKSA, IKO, VDWS etc.) Can I teach at a Kiteboarding Australia school?
Yes, if you have another recognised qualification, you can teach at a Kiteboarding Australia school.
Can an IKO assistant instructor convert to a KA lvl 1?
The IKO assistant instructor course does not convert to the lvl 1 Kiteboarding Australia course. Level 1 IKO instructors can convert to the KA course. If you have further questions about the conversion, please email contact@kiteboardingaus.com.au
Why should I attend a Kiteboarding Australia conversion course?
Attending a Kiteboarding Australia conversion course will give you the opportunity to work in a Kiteboarding Australia accredited school. You will also become up to date with the best practice Australian teaching standards and further develop your professional kiteboarding qualifications. Instructors are given a 3 month grace period where they can work in a Kiteboarding Australia school before having to attend a conversion course.
I have completed an instructor course but have not recieved my qualification, why not?
After completing a Kiteboarding Australia instructor course you will depart with two documents, a course completion certificate and an action plan. In order to to be awared your qualification you must submit to Kiteboarding Australia these documents along with all other requirements for your qualification. You can submit your documentation to contact@kiteboardingaus.com.au for processing.
Where can I find my instructor certificate?
There are two places to access your accrediation certificates. Firstly, you will be emailed your certificate after the accreditation has been processed. Secondly the certificate can be downloaded via accessing your Kiteboarding Australia login page.
