National Titles across all disciplines get the go ahead as planned!

Published Wed 05 Jan 2022

Hello

Kiteboarding Australia are thrilled to announce that all four National Title events will go ahead as planned in 2022.

With the Eastern states opening their borders this year and the Western Australia government announcing the border to WA will be opening on the 5th of February, this provides a pathway for the Wing Foil Nationals, Freestyle Nationals, Wave Nationals and Kite Foil Nationals to take place in 2022.

Our understanding is that these border changes will mean domestic travel is possible throughout Australia, but understand that things can change rapidly in the current climate and additional closures and travel restrictions may be imposed at any stage. KA will monitor the situation closely in an attempt to mitigate the impacts of future restrictions on these events.

Please refer to the relevant state government website to best understand the situation as it applies to you.
