Instructor Re-Validation
Welcome to Kiteboarding Australias Re-Validation Portal.
Re-validation is about making sure that you are up to date and appropriately qualified to be delivering kiteboarding instruction.
The re-validation process for your Kiteboarding Australia instructor qualification can be achieved simply in two ways:
1. Attend a 1 day re-validation course (You must re-validate through this process at least once every six years)
or
2. Evidence a minimum 30 instructor hours over the last 12 months (shadow hours or a signed declaration of your teaching hours) & a reference confirming your up keep in instructor hours from a senior instructor (e.g. school manager)
In order to re-validate can you please attach the following:
- A valid first aid certificate
- A valid boat licence
- A valid Kiteboarding Australia membership
- Current Working With Children Check
- Completed Exam (download here & upload completed version below)
- Paid revalidation fee ($120) - (https://www.kiteboardingaus.com.au/product/15974/) or sign up to the next re-validation course ($200)
If you have not be an active teacher over the last 12 months, you will be required to attend the next re-validation course, please email contact@kiteboardingaus.com.au for the next available session.
