Bring: Notepad, Textbook (digital is fine), pen, sunscreen, harness & kiting equipment

The purpose behind this course is to bring instructors up to date on Kiteboarding Australia's Curriculum teaching practice, the Kiteboarding Australia school structure and standards and the Kiteboarding Australia instructor route.
 
Upon completion of the conversion course and level 1 Kiteboarding Australia instructor exam you will receive a Kiteboarding Australia accreditation at your equivilant level. 
 

Accreditation Requirements

Candidates must also hold:

• A valid powerboating qualification
• A valid First Aid qualification or equivalent
• A valid Kiteboarding Australia Membership
• Current Working With Children Check
• Candidates must also possess an adequate level of riding skills.

Instructor Re-Validation

Welcome to Kiteboarding Australias Re-Validation Portal.

Re-validation is about making sure that you are up to date and appropriately qualified to be delivering kiteboarding instruction. 

The re-validation process for your Kiteboarding Australia instructor qualification can be achieved simply in two ways:

1. Attend a 1 day re-validation course (You must re-validate through this process at least once every six years)

or 

2. Evidence a minimum 30 instructor hours over the last 12 months (shadow hours or a signed declaration of your teaching hours) & a reference confirming your up keep in instructor hours from a senior instructor (e.g. school manager)

In order to re-validate can you will need to provide

- A valid first aid certificate

- A valid boat licence 

- A valid Kiteboarding Australia membership

- Current Working With Children Check

- Completed Exam (download here & upload completed version below)

If you have not be an active teacher over the last 12 months, you will be required to attend the next re-validation course, please email contact@kiteboardingaus.com.au for the next available session.
